Unique Trait/Ability:
Nura’s ability is stranger than most. She is able to harness the hottest flame’s power, the blue flame, and use it as her own. In Nura’s hands, the flame can become increasingly dangerous if you underestimate her. It can heal wounds with cooling heat, but if she wishes, can also cause intense pain and agony using a burning hot temperature. However, Nura cannot heal and attack at the same time, for it will drain her to the point where she can’t move her body at all, becoming a liability.
Items/Weapons:
Nura uses
Emei Daggers to defend or attack if she cannot use her ability. The daggers are used in a way that allows her to battle at a mid to close range distance, and strike quickly yet forcefully.
Sexual Preference: Straight.
Alignment:
Nura is neither good nor bad, working for the people whom she trusts…except that she doesn’t trust anyone yet. Her tough and sarcastic personality is only a cover up for how scared she is that someone will hurt her, like they did in her past. Because of this, Nura is now a fighter with no true alignment, and only really joins in on the fights when she feels like spicing things up.
History:
Nura’s past was something she would have rather not talked about. When she was younger, her whole family was happy, or at least that’s how they pretended to be, for Nura’s sake. However, when she turned ten, she noticed that her father and mother fought almost every day, and those fights soon after escalated into all out wars between each other, with Nura hiding in her room, begging someone, anyone to stop it. One day, when Nura was twelve, her mother had talked to her with a strangely happy smile on her face, “ Daddy won’t be bothering us anymore. “ And being the child that she was, Nura happily believed her, and continued living on with her mother. After all, the fights had stopped, right?
Wrong. At age sixteen, a curious Nura had snuck into the room her mother had told her never to go in- and had screamed at the sight of her poor father, skin blue, black, and all shades of purple, eyes sewn shut and mouth gagged. The room stank of rotten flesh, and upon closer inspection, Nura found maggots eating away at her father’s stomach. In tears, Nura ran to her mother, crying about how she had found father. Instead of being kind and caring, Nura’s mother’s face morphed into that creepily happy face once more. It was then that Nura knew; her father was abused and killed by her mother. And her mother was going to do the same to her. Screaming, Nura tried to run out of the house, but found that the doors were locked. Her mother, kitchen knife in one hand, plunged a knife straight into Nura’s leg, cackling in glee. Nura screamed, and fell to the floor, losing both blood and consciousness. The world went black, and she knew that she was to die soon…
However, this proved to be wrong when she woke up the next day, right leg throbbing with pain, but alive. Apparently a neighbor had found out that the girl was being attacked, and had charged in there with several other people to apprehend her mother. However, in the end, Nura was left alone again. Her mother had been killed in anger by the friends of Nura’s father, and people who had thought the mother was a good person. From that day on, Nura learned never to trust people, as the closest ones you know could turn on you.
