Lol. I had a lot of options after grade 9 and 10.
I had few mandatory classes and a lot of...ugh, what're they called.
Just classes you're allowed to pick on your own.
Anyways. Took art every single year. That was a fun class.
Took drama one year...passed it by the skin of my knees because I have stage fright.
Took communications, failed it in grade 12 thanks to the damn animation course. :/
I do NOT understand Flash at all. And the stop-motion KILLED me. D8
Took World History, which was fun.
And Psychology. And Sociology. Failed Sociology. xD
OH. And World Religion, since that's an option in grade 11 or 12, I forget what year it was.
But yeah...it was a nice break for me to get away from the Bible thumping.
I'm Atheist, but not an ignorant one. :p I probably know more about religion than most. xD;;
Uhmmm...yeah. Didn't take many super-fun courses.
The high school I went to was Catholic...had uniforms, but not the skirt and blazer type.
Just shirts and pants. There WERE kilts, and shorts, and khaki's, but they were optional.
And more expensive.
So a lot of the curriculum was strict sometimes.
Failed Sociology, Communications and Entrepreneurship, so I didn't graduate with my class.
Ended up switching to the high school in town, which is extremely ghetto.
But I ended up meeting my boyfriend there, and actually took classes that WERE AWESOME.
NOW I get to tell you about the super-fun ones.
I took Native Studies. Got to go to a Pow Wow, go on field trips, etc.
There was a much darker half of the course where we toured an old Residential school...
And I learned a dying Native language called Lenape. I speak Lenape better than I speak French.
And I had to learn French for 10 years. I learned Lenape in one semester...
