Ok there are two things wrong with my cat and I was wondering if someone out there can help me.

1. My cat has been jumping from furniture to furniture and never touched the floor like it is on fire or something. I only see her on the floor for a few min while she is eating and she gets back on the furniture again. Is this a behavior problem or something else?

2. I tried to get to sleep but when I lay on my other side away I hear my cat touching stuff on the shelves and knocking them over to get my attention to get up right away. How can I fix this problem so I can get a few hours of sleep without anything getting knocked off and waking me up?
