It takes a lot of patience for training and I have respect for other bird owners who choose to adopt at some point :)

I understand the bonding thing. My bird screams when I leave the room and will not stop for hours unless I sit on the couch in the living room. As long as I am in sight he's a happy bird haha.

We have to move in the next couple of months and I'm not sure if I will be able to keep him, which makes me really sad :( Most rental places don't allow pets and I have no one who will foster him until I can find a place of my own that will allow animals. It's going to be very hard choosing which family to make his new home, but I might have a family in line who would be willing to take him. I'm just worried they will want to keep him because I've become attached. But if he's happy with them I wouldn't want to break their bond.

Quakers are awesome lol but they are expensive here in Australia I paid $600 for Nessie five years ago because she's a blue quaker, Jimmy is a green I paid $150 for him, I hope you find a family for him if you have to I rehomed my cat a few years ago that was sad.
