In honesty he just wanted to go back asleep and pretend his birthday never happened he wanted to know why Gil seemed to have so much pull over his emotions though he wasn't deserving of the power, in his kinder moods if Gil wanted the world he would happily give it to him but it seemed like when he was in that kind of mood he was also more sensitive to rejection and would switch back to being an asshole because of it.
