[Quiet Man Cometh]

Mirri looked down at Rin, also not entirely sure what the young really was to her. As far as she was concerned, she was done "mothering." Her daughters and sons had all grown up and left and hopefully made the best of the start she gave them. Looking after the kitten seemed to have fallen to her by default.

Oh well. A kitten was a kitten.

"I keep her out of trouble" Mirri commented to the new cat.
