so how are the gifts physically /given/ to the receivers. Well, its up to you on that one be creative but they cannot simply just awake and have them. Gotta have some detail like, Lets say that the gods gifted them powers for something good they had done or something.

are they limited to local gods. No, Any and all gods are allowed as long as they are Actual gods no made ups please.

how much of the god's power is given.Well, its not all of the power but Demi-gods will tend to have a more stronger connection to there power than WoD's (Warriors of the deity) Simply because they were born with it and have had more time to deal with it.

if we want a god who is near to identical to another god(jesus and horus are the same dude and so was neptune and posideon) would we get the powers they share, the powers that only the god you pick has or can you use powers from the other god? You can only use the powers and traits from the god you have chose you cannot blend powers.

does the receiver have to /know/ they have this power. That is up to you though it would be interesting to see someone who didn't know that had them.

and does the god that gave it have the ability to take it away? Hmm, Well i would have to say Yes, but one person cannot take someone else Oc's powers away.

does the receiver have to learn how to use their gifts or do they know them already without practice or knowledge of it? This is up to you as well, My character (Lucien) already has the knowledge to use the powers, but if you wanted to be new at them and learn them as a better story than that is okay to.

also for how long can the receiver have the power? I am not sure as to what you are asking on this one be more specific what do you mean how long?(battle? How long they can use it? How long they can keep it?)
