Ling didn't let that bother her as she led them deeper into the suite to a lounge area. Long dumped Dewei onto one of the couches here. He and Ling stood quietly as they waited. A minute or two later Sheng walked into the room in a nice suit. Before he could say anything, Long walked over to him and whispered a few things in his ear. Sheng nodded a bit, expression giving nothing away. When Long was done, he addressed Ling first.

Sheng kissed Ling lightly on the cheek before asking, "I'm sorry to make you wait longer, but could you see to Dewei and then wait in the living room for me." Ling nodded obediently with a small smile.

Then Sheng gestured for Pepper to follow him as he began to walk down the hallway.
