edit; You don't come off as a bum at all. You're just having a rough start in life. I'm in a similar situation, only I can't find the help I need to fill everything out for college. I don't think there is anything wrong with living in a vehicle, especially if you are young and trying to find work. It's better than being tied down with absurd mortgage payments and little to no money left after all of your bills are paid.
