I love cats! I don't have any pets of my own, but apparently one of my housemates is getting a pet husky. ^^ There are a lot of huskies where I live; my younger sister also has one (Bianca). Also, my school's mascot is a husky! xD

I am looking forward to fall. Most of my excitement is for my friends to come back, and for the frequent game nights. I am a little worried how it will turn out now that we all have moved into houses and apartments off-campus, but I hope we will be able to meet at least once a week. Academics-wise, I am both excited and nervous to take my first education courses. I am nervous because I am worried that I won't like teaching after all and will have to change my concentration and go on to become a sad, number-crunching statistician. D: I'm also worried about my education minor. I was originally signed up for computer science, but I hated (also failed) the application-oriented classes, so I've switched to biology. The material will be easy enough; what I'm worried about is the three-hour labs that come along with every one of the six courses I'm required to take. I hate lab sciences... ugh. But my only other choices for teaching minors are ones I am sure I wouldn't enjoy, so it's either this or back to CS.
