I sure missed a lot. o.o

Yeah, I know how it is to deal with angry customers. >.< (I work at Wal-Mart overnights.) I remember one time, it was near the end of my shift, which is early morning before 7:00 AM. This customer came, he already looked like he was in a bad mood. Well, he told me not to check his eggs, since he checked them already. (Apparently, I had him before, because I asked how he knew, and he said I did it before.)
Well, by accident, I checked his eggs to see if they were cracked. I'm so used to it, since I check all my customers' eggs to make sure they are not cracked. I forgot about him telling me not to check the eggs, and he starts all yelling at me and I think swearing too. He was saying he doesn't like people "touching" his food and that he wanted to see a manager about this. He even went all the way back to get a new carton of eggs...
At one point, I said to him, people are not perfect and make mistakes. He said to me, that if I'm not perfect and I make mistakes, I should not be working here. I send him to one of my managers after the transaction was done. Of course I did not get in trouble, as accidents happen and the customer was kinda crazy. I don't understand what his problem was. Though that really freaked me out, and it made me upset.
