You pay for one or more tickets and when all the slots fill you hope that you win. Its a gamble but if you win it could make you a very happy person. _+The winner will be picked randomly by the Gaia number generator, and I will post a link to where the number is for proof. Which is why you get to pick where you want to place your name. _+By placing your name next to the number you have purchased that slot. If I except your "Buying tickets" pm send me the money in a trade. Since you have picked your numbers I will hold the slots for a week or two, depending on the item, pending the Aurum.
