I don't have much experience with this but I'll see if I can shed a bit of insight for you Echo.

If you were a sociopath I think it would be likely that either having no emotions wouldn't bother you, or you'd be pleased with it. Maybe you just have a very hard time connecting with people.

Everyone is different and just because you don't fit to what you think you should be doesn't mean there's something wrong. I'd recommend if you can, to speak to a counselor or a therapist about it. Maybe they can help you find out why you don't seem to show any sympathy.

Sorry that I can't think of much else Echo, but I hope you are able to resolve how you feel about this.
