Sure he wanted to go home, but he wasn't sure at the same time. What if everything that was told in his time was wrong, if this was indeed the same world why did magic vanish? His head hurt for a number of reasons, thinking too much and the fact that he did get a nice blow earlier. But he still had to wonder why or what force could cause history to forget that such beings and magic existed. Sure they were spoke of in legends and myths but if they were real why hide them? He wanted answers and he knew he would probably never get them.
Following Mizuki he couldn't help but look over the variety of being in this camp, to see such things actually breathing and going about a daily life was almost unbelievable. Though he did do his best not to stare and a number of the beasts and other beings he knew from books or games he had read or played over the years... to admit it made him more then a little uneasy seeing some of them in the flesh. A number of them being known for their tempers or fighting skills, he was hardly willing to test his luck by offending any of them. Or at least if he could help it...
Once they seemed to come to the tent Mizuki wanted to take him to he listened once more to the other before nodding a little. He knew how to talk to his elders, and if this being was a elf.. who knew how hold she really was. The concept of immortality was something humans sought after so to be face to face with a being that very well could be as close to immortal as you could get was exciting ... even if he still wasn't sure he trusted all of this magic business.
The woman was indeed old, her age he had tried in his mind to guess but he quickly gave up not wanting to offend her in the event she had some sort of powers to read minds. Though in truth he probably would have guessed way younger then she really was. Though he was brought from his thoughts when the woman spoke to him talking of his aura and how it seemed to be acting. In truth it was exactly how he felt, he was uneasy and had a bit of worry he was stuck here. Not that it was all bad, so long a a dragon or something didn't eat him...
He nodded a little when Mizuki seemed to tell him to ask what questions he had, he wasn't sure where to begin but he'd try to start somewhere. "Why... why if all of this exists now why not in the time I come from?" He seemed to pause a moment sure he could have asked how to get home or why this happened to him and not someone else but not all things needed a answer just yet, nor did he expect such questions to have something so simple as a answer. "Everything I know of the world seems to be wrong as far as history is concerned..."
In truth he wasn't sure this question even had a answer, even if this elder was wise she might not be able to provide such a answer. Everything just felt like it was happening too quickly like all of the information he had read needed to be redone or relearned because the books were wrong. What happened between now and his time to cause magic to all but vanish from the world?
