Gabriel turned only enough to continue watching the man in his own sleepy haze. He offered small nods in what he hoped were the right places. His ever mysterious host was already out the door again by the time Gabe succeeded in his efforts with his clothing. He blinked, and as the man left his immediate sight, leaned far out of the doorway, the relatively neat portions of his hair flopping into his face. "You really don't... Uh..." His words little more than a mumble, he cleared his throat before calling to the departing man, "Thank you."
Despite the offer of clothing, Gabriel seemed to find his own still adequate, as he slipped his tattered robe on with ease before turning back to the room. Though he was certainly hungry, and honestly thankful that the man had gone through so much effort, he could hardly eat half of the food he was given. The knock at the door was a much needed distraction.
When he was back at the doorway, however, he found he was there alone. With the smallest of sighs, he gathered up the abandoned clothes, offering a soft, and most certainly unheard, murmur of gratitude to the empty hall. Now that he was awake, there was a mountain of things he needed to tend to. He headed back in only long enough to set the clothes on the chair before, tugging his sandals on as well, he left. Left the room, the hall, to leave the temple entirely.
