"I finished my therapy today," Ryan told her. "Now it's up to me to make my arm fully nimble and reliable." The doctor had seemed to be relieved, that he would not further wreck their equipment or deal him an unexpected hit, when his arm suddenly did something different than planned, or when Ryan didn't take in account the new strength.

"That's why I will be taking fighting lessons." He said it casually, and hoped Alice would accept it just as calmly. Ryan had no idea what was her opinion on violence and fighting, but she didn't seem the type to appreciate it. He hoped he would manage to hide that it will probably be more painful than therapies and recovery period. The man had watched one of Eve's classes, and she was ruthless. To say the very least.

Ryan had not yet talked with Elek about the new rules he wanted to bring into their deal, but it would be today, tomorrow at the latest. The possible operations and examinations would take more of his time, but Ryan was determined to always have time for Alice. She gave him strength and energy.
