Maki stood on the rough path half-dazed for a moment before turning to face whomever Hayate had angered. "Damn it, Hayate," she muttered while she discreetly tripped his pursuer as they ran past her. She dashed off in the other direction as soon as they were down, only giving her fellow Flame Skull enough time to get away. She headed in the direction of the market district in hopes of finding some footwear for herself.

Edge wandered around the shrine district. She had sent a message to her superiors about Vincent's proposal. They had been interested and were setting up meetings with other Vampire Skulls near Punisher territory. The two groups actually complemented one another quite nicely; the Vampire Skulls were more adept at long-range combat and were very strategy-oriented, and the Punisher Skulls were adept at close-quarters combat and were more power-oriented.

The blonde knew that it was generally agreed that the shrine district was Vampire territory, but she wasn't trying to start anything. No, she was just checking out the area since she hadn't gotten a chance before she joined the Punishers. The area was rather pretty, and there were more trees here than there were in other parts of the city. She could feel herself being watched, though, by both regular people on the sidewalks and by others from the more shadowed parts of her surroundings.
