The Ascended Angel
December 5th, Chicago. Sewer #17.
Whatever she had injected him with had started to neutralize what little poison was left over in his torn apart system. It took a little bit of time for the CAT to show up, some parts of his skin already healing up. His neck was fine, no longer cut up a bit, and his ankles were starting to look a little bit normal. His arms, however, were still mostly without flesh and his chest had a large hole in it.

During the rushed car ride to the base, his ankles were the main parts that healed up but bone still pressed up under his skin. The vehicle came to a sudden stop and he was pulled out, still unconscious, and hurried inside. It wasn't long before he was hooked up to a saline pack and the liquid was being pushed into his body. However, it did not go over very well at first as the only main arteries available were in his thighs and neck.

After the drip point was moved to his neck, they were able to see some improvements... until his eyes flashed open. Fur tore up under what skin he had left and he yelled out, his cry soon turning to a roar matched with the crashing of metal on the wall as he threw a surgery table away from him. The doctors and nurses fled, as they knew they should, and the furred man stood up from his bed.

With ankles fully restored and long nails tearing out from his shoes, he threw a thin, bony arm out at the bed and groaned, staggering down. Fur rose up from the skin and muscles began to grow and reform on that same arm. Yellow eyes squinting shut, and both arms nearly fully restored, the whole in his chest began to close. Fur shuffled across the healing parts of his body and he groaned as it continued until no injuries were noticeable.

Immediately after his recovery, he howled again and thrashed his arms about the room, tearing at the bed and purely metal objects, for the most part. Despite being crazed by the pain, he was still able to be selective about his targets. He knew well enough how expensive medical equipment could get and what was more easily replaceable- these things being his targets.
