[Ishu]

December 5th, Chicago. Sewer #17.

Her tail whipped around, keeping a good portion of the shadows at bay. Her body fet weighed down and slowed even though she continued to crawl toward Leila. One shadow in particular lashed out at her face and she gnashed it in her teeth, chewing it up as she continued toward her prey. The shadows seeped out between her teeth and fell away like a little pile of sludge, let to rejuvenate over time.

But the closer she got, the slower she moved. Her body hurt and the blood was starting to come out. Snarling, her tail dispatched the rest of the shadows and she inched back from Leila. As her body began to come back to, she was obviously not happy with the turn of events, and fled up the walls of the tunnel and hurried off.

As for Amante, he lay on the tunnel floor with a lot of skin missing, even a bit from his face. Blood soaked through his clothes and stained the concrete flooring. Surprisingly enough, he still had a heartbeat though it was faint.
