Leila glared at him, when he laughed. But, halfheartedly, she had to admit it sounded quite unfitting for an opinion about Christmas time. Still, it was a fact, and it did say something about the excessive 'family and present time' propaganda that was wrapped around Christmas like second skin, even eating into its spirit.
"I know why I can't have," Leila said a little defiantly and took a bite, then wiped ice cream off the corner of her mouth with napkin. Her brows drew together and Leila now had an angry, hurt expression, with slight pout - the kind a unnecessarily scolded child would have. "But I don't mind them having their merry little Christmas..."
