December 1st, Chicago; "Polar Bear Cafe".

Leila looked up at him and nodded. She thought about saying "very much", "I love it", but then decided it was unnecessery information he had no reason to know. This was her spot... Maybe if she let Amante know how much she cared for it, he would again tease her or stalk her to here every time. That wasn't something Leila wanted.
"Sit down. You look too big for this place," the girl commented, seemingly out of blue. There was little chance Amante would 'get lost', so why ruin the nice scenery? Indeed, she loved the decorations of this cafe. Most walls were covered in paintings of wintery scenery, there was even pair of polar bear cubs playing. Every season, cafe owners ordered new paintings and the place got a whole new look within a day's time.

Leila got up and ordered her ice cream - cherry 'homemade' with dark chocolate and extra chocolate topping. "It's nice to see you here with a friend, Miss," the shopkeeper smiled at her, as Leila took her ice cream. Her eyes widened in surprise. "You sometime look lonely and sad, Miss, when you sit by that window... I am glad you're not alone anymore." Leila felt frozen for a moment, but then murmured thanks and returned to the table. Her gaze wandered out of the window, slightly clouded, before the girl shook her head lightly and returned to present. Suddenly, the silence felt awkward ("I hope he didn't hear what the shopkeeper said..."). "I never get why people start to prepare and talk about Christmas two months before them."
