Elek quickly realized that he was not hurting, but aiding Eve instead. He stopped attacking her, leaped back, to avoid whatever she was going to throw at him. And, indeed, not long after, the woman threw huge boulder his way (that turned out to be more literal than he had predicted). Snarling, he crouched and the energy field around him pushed forwards, clashed with the rock and smashed it into many tiny pieces. After thid dodge, the field became much smaller, just like Elek had planned. His anger was still fueling him, but need to survive (and win) won over. Moving the energy, which he was not used to manipulate with, under his feet, he used to it to propeller him self into air, but did not attack her. Instead, he simply moved quickly to other side of the field. The plan now was to drain the newly consumed energy out of her, tire her. Blocking, dodging and fleeing was his new tactics.
Aiolia, in the mean time, had finished the opponent line, and pushed trough the crowd to first lines. All her body hurt, she could barely move her left arm and leg, but she was upset not because of the pain, but the fact she had been so injured and nearly lost. "I have to get better," the girl thought, but at that moment, boulder flew Elek's way and all other thoughts were wiped from her head. She watched the fighting in horror, her heart freezing with fear. Aiolia wished she could intervene, but knew she had neither the power or right to... Elek wanted to prove something as well and there was no way she would stand in his path.
