That is a good point, Kali. My only issue with that is that... If wands get more powerful with experience and use and all that, and can lose power over certain things, who's to say that their ability won't fade with time and lack of use? And if any wand has had the time for that, it's certainly this one.

Again, of course, none of my points matter if we go with the Death thing, but... Without that, it all kind of falls apart for me.
