Asami was taken slightly aback "well that wasn't exactly what I was asking but... okay then is that all you want us to know?" She tilted her head slightly. "That you're the bad guy?" She blushed at her statement and turned to Phoebe "what about you?"

"I come from a small island full of people like me but all different kinds. My best friend is half bird of paradise. Her beauty is matched by no other. We have a large mountain on our island where we all roost and learn. We are taught how to fly shortly after we hatch. Nothing beats flying. I am one of the few phoenix people left. We are a dying breed."

"Why is that Phoebe? Ive never even heard of your kind before.."

"Phoenix feathers are incrediblyrare and valuable . Some men have hunted us down just for our feathers and beaks and such. Everything about my kind is beauty and people want beauty for their own. Ah.. and our feathers are important in some potions are they not?"

Asami nodded. "Bit ive never done one that required them."

Phoebe nodded. "Like I said they are rare."
