While cleaning up the back room where the newest expansion was going to go Lost came across this. "Strange looking package for these parts." she mumbled to herself. She knew there were already people here looking around at the new shiny Charity. She just put it on the top shelf hidden from plan sight and keep working. "Maybe something will come of this later, but for now we shalt get their hopes up...."


...As the days pass the box slowly became forgotten in its hiding place. At night when the charity was all locked up for the night and the lights were off it would glow slightly where it sat. One night it sparked and fizzled leaping from the shelf and landing in the middle of the floor. The next morning as Lost was opening the charity and getting everything ready for a new day she came across the box again. Picking it up still thinking it was a strange thing she brought it out of storage and place it on the counter. "Maybe its time to see what you hold for us..."

With that she pulled lightly at the ribbon on the box, and as it gave way, untying, it sparked and shined drawing attention to it from outside the windows. Soon the charity would be filled with people just like every other day. Soon it will not be so easy to hide. Lost lifted the cover of the box and something magical happened. The room filled with sparks, stars and light. It was such a display of color that what was actually in the box was momentarily forgotten.

Thirteen beautiful skeleton keys lay neatly in the box. Each with a different look to it.

⊹ The first was a silver tribal rose handled with three emeralds imbedded into it.

⊹ The second was pure white, and almost had a bone feel to it but it was as cold as ice, and had a skull handle.

⊹ The third was bronze and its handle was an infinity symbol enclosed in a circle.

⊹ The forth was iron. Heavy to the touch and not as elegant as the others seen thus far.

⊹ The fifth was made of gold and had beautifully thin swirls of blue laced within it. Being the smallest of all of the keys it was on a golden chain.

⊹ The sixth was stripped like a tiger, white and black.

⊹ The seventh was plain looking copper key.

⊹ The eighth was a frosted glass key with a snowflake handle.

⊹ The ninth was sparking and fizzing. it ranged from red to gold and had an elegant tribal star handle.

⊹ The tenth was light sky blue with white wings on it.

⊹ The eleventh was pitch black. The handle was just that of a solid circle. Each of the suits (hearts, clubs, spades, and diamonds) were painted on the side. In red and silver.

⊹ The twelfth was steel with wire wrapped around it.

⊹ Finally the thirteenth was aged and rusting. It had been well hidden by all of the others at the bottom of the box. Its handle was that of a clock gear.

What did these keys open?
How would these keys be given away?
There were many secrets around this box and now around these keys.
