Jack's eyebrows rose in alarm once more, feeling entirely too awkward. He leaned close to Omega after the Tradesman had gone to help the hired hand, whispering in to his ear.

"Keep talking like that and maybe he'll give you a discount on account of you being so nice."

He grinned as he straightened up. He caught the tail end of the commotion that was going on, catching Orel's question to him.

"Like I said to Jules over there, I'm gonna need two sets of aft landing gear struts, a compression coil with all its parts, a tube of mylar hatch sealant, power-applicators, and a temp regulator for a thermometer. And one of those long stick things with a claw on the end that you use for grabbing stuff in hard to reach places. Lost an arm under the engine carriage and I haven't been able to get to it to space it out the airlock yet. Not attached to it anymore anyway, got me a new one here."

He chuckled to himself, grinning at both Orel and his own stupid joke.
