Maki quickly and quietly made her way to the hidden door, leaving her empty cup in the kitchen on her way. She cursed herself for leaving her boots in the front entryway. Now she would have to either come back to get them or find another pair. The door led out into a forested area behind the house, and that suited her just fine. She sauntered around the woods, mapping out the area in her head. She frowned when her stomach grumbled. "Be quiet, you," she muttered quietly.
