Jack's eyebrows shot up as the man had pounced in to his very close personal space, climbing higher and higher as he continued talking and were in great danger of packing up their things and moving to just under his hair line. He gave the man a moment to catch his breath before he replied, his facial expression settling in to a devilish grin.

"Well now, that's a mighty fine offer. Problem is these parts I need aren't spare. It's what I need to fly. But you got what I need, and if the askin's fair, I think we can deal."

As he spoke, his eyes darted quickly through the rest of the hustle and bustle, looking for the other man that this haggard fellow had shoved out of the way. He had half a mind to give his business to the unlucky hawker out of sheer principle, but he didn't want to stray far and he was slightly afraid that this unseemly person might explode if he were to turn down his sales pitch.
