Donnie stayed down in the pub area for a good hour or so longer, discussing things with Fin. Apparently Fin had been married once before, but his wife had died and they never had any children because she couldn't have them. The distant look on his face as he explained it was saddening, but he didn't want any pity. After her death, he needed something to keep him going, so he bought this building and created it into a pub and inn. It was something his wife would have liked to do, given more time with the living.

Donnie learned a lot about Fin, but also about the mysterious red headed beauty. Nobody knew her name or where she came from. All anyone knew was that she popped up about a month before they did and also had on some really funny clothing and spoke with an off accent, much like theirs. She got in with a group of alchemists, which in the case now were somewhat like outlaws. They believed differently and done... magical type things in the night, or so people thought and said. They were finally apprehended and thrown in the brig, to be tried later that week.

After learning all he needed to and agreeing for them to work to stay, Donnie headed back up to the room and layed in bed after taking off his shirt and shoes. He wasn't going to take off his pants, even if they did get a little wrinkled. He wouldn't want Amelia waking up and thinking thoughts about what might have happened, assuming she couldn't remember.

He dozed off fairly quickly.
