A*DIC*TED
Amelia Marie Diederich

When Donnie pushed away her cup she felt a little betrayed. "Do i really not get a say in this?" She scoffed and looked away. Amelia's feelings seemed to be everywhere, she didn't know what to do with them. She thought about just going back up to the room and pouting or sitting there watching Donnie drink and not say anything to her. She sighed still not knowing what to do. She just sat there trying to make up her mind. At least she got to be with him. She tried her hardest to think of the positives that were going on at that moment. She was with Donnie, alone, and they were on an adventure. She didn't have to deal with her old life, or school any more. Though now she missed those things. Why can't there be a happy middle ground? She rested her head on Donnie's shoulder and tried to make herself happy, but she could feel the depression sneaking back up on her. Normally she would just try to ignore it but every once in a while she couldn't control it.

The tears started to build up in her eyes and all she wanted to do at that point was cry. She took a deep breathe, trying to control it the best she could, concentrating on just breathing. It didn't work. Nothing was going to work, now. She just had to wait until it pasted. A tear fell down her face and onto Donnie's jacket(or shirt), making it wet there. She sat up and whipped away the tears on her face. She then decided not to show Donnie this side of her, since there was no need for him to be worried about her. Not much he could do to help her, since she never truly knew why she was so upset in the first place.

She quietly stood and walked back up to their room.Once she got out of sight of Donnie the tears started to stream down her face. All she could was hold back the sobs until she was face down into a pillow.

Walking back to the room a hard working man blocked her path. Amelia was in no mood to say anything, more or less because she wouldn't be able to control the sobs once she started to make noise. "Hello. What has you so upset?" His voice was gruff and his body was huge. HE towered over her, not making Amelia feel any better about herself. "The guy you were with wasn't paying you enough?" A big smile came over his face, as Amelia started to realize what was going on. She tried to push pass him, ignoring his advances, but he just kept blocking her path. "Where do you think you are you going?" He grabbed Amelia's wrist, Letting his muscle use full force on her arm, making sure she wasn't going any where. A small squel gasped out of her lips as his fingers wrapped around her bones, not letting go. "That hurts..." She tried once more to pull away, and failed. " You are coming with me." Amelia didn't know what to do. Was this how it happened back then? The men just dragged whomever girl they wanted to their beds to make them feel good.

He started to walk, dragging Amelia with him. She started to yell out Donnie's name, but the man snapped around, and his large fist went into her face. The pain was so much she started to get dizzy, even more then from the drinks. Her body felt like it was giving up on the world and she felt like she deserved this in some way. Her feet barely held her up any more, making her wrist only hurt more from him dragging him.

The bartender perked up thinking he heard some one yelling, and was ready to lay the beat down on one of his drunken costumers.
