Same here. There was a fire really early in the morning 30 miles south of me, and even with the windows closed, I told my mom (while I was having breakfast), "Hey, something's burning." My mom said she smelled nothing even after we left the house and were on our way to school...and then dyring the day she decided to clean the windows and found this thin layer of soot on them, then heard that there was a huge fire in Santa Cruz.
