Yer...agreed. They do look good on the avatars, but they've decreased their chances at getting art.

I think it also depends on other factors. How well their personality sticks out, common habits that help people remember the characters, how well they've interacted with the community, likability in the appearance, the awesomeness of their creator etc. wtfbbqandranchsauce I can haz cheeseburger? *stomach growls*
