Movies should be remade. Some movies are impossible to find due to age and not being released on DVD and will never be released on DVD, but if it's re-made...there is a chance it won't suck, you'll be able to get it on DVD, AND a new generation may even like it too.

Like I've only seen some remakes of some movies-like Planet of the Apes. And I enjoyed the,. Nothing wrong with remakes IF done right.
