@Tiva: I'll be driving something of 10hrs during the day myself, but we need to stop in a motel at least or try to sleep in the front of the truck. This is because my fiance's license expired a bit ago because he was not paying attention to it out here, (vegas license didn't get it transferred right away because he didn't know how long he was staying.) and I had no idea. So within the last couple weeks we sent out for his birth certificate to get a new license...
For some reason the state of California needs a written request for a birth certificate that's been notarized w/money of course, which has been sent. We're still waiting >.>; So I'm kinda the only one stuck driving, which is part of the panic. :( Otherwise I'd feel a thousand times better doing exactly what you said, taking shifts and sleeping..that's brilliant btw. <3
And as for my parents, my mother doesn't want to live anywhere but here because she has an amazing job with a law office right now as a paralegal. She moved from a large law firm with a couple lawyers that broke off from it to start a private one and they are doing phenomenally well. Of course I'd like it if they came to vegas! lol I don't think my dad cares one way or another, he'd actually have more work out there as a contractor! :D My grandmother (on my mother's side) lives in New Jersey and my great aunt, big shocker here, lives in the state of Rhode Island! So thankfully their lazy fat asses aren't moving anywhere near me or them anytime soon.

The big thing with 38 studios is that, it's completely different from the employee's point of view, and the news point of view. People are outright demonizing Curt because they need someone to blame, and because he's a figure head. When people don't actually realize, or gloss over the fact that, in reality Curt started the company, but was not the CEO of the company and he was only one of several investors in the company and is losing 50mil of his own money. My fiance had a friend in 38 who was actively working on copernicus + had worked on Amalur, on top of having contact with Curt on a daily basis.
There is an article online now, bringing a lot of the things we already knew to light about the governor and state. You'll read about what the state of Rhode Island did to the company, not just what happened from the state's standpoint. There are two sides to every story. :) I personally believe because of how corrupt that state is in business end f things, I wouldn't be surprised if they intentionally did this to take the eye off of some officials that were already on thin ice and blame an outside source.
Although, my fiance has a job with his dad that pays very very well. So I'm not worried about that, I'll have time to work on my portfolio. <3 But he also got an email from one of Blizzard's lead recruiters, and from Trion and Arenanet as well that were interested in hiring him. Since my dream is to be a concept artist this works for me as well XD
Okay aside from that crap! Lol, which is the least of my stress. @Kotomi, yea I actually might sleep in the truck a night or two. That's a nice idea! I'm just worried that if I can't sleep well I won't be able to drive for 10hrs the next day. I've never transported rats so far...the farthest has been 50minutes, but he was only one ratty and he had his own travel cage. ^^ I have 2 boys together, 2 girls together and 1 girl alone (lost her cage mate sadly) So I would need three travel cages which isn't a big deal really. The only thing is I might need to break up the two boys into a separate travel cage since they are territorial and whatnot. So that would be four travel cages and I'm not actually sure how big the front of the truck is yet... o.o;
Of course I won't be doing this until June 21st or 22nd so I have time but still. That's plenty of time to panic/worry.
