A lot of Koreans will take an English name because typically Americans have a hard time saying Korean names.
Like Hoya's English name is Jacob (or Jake)
Kwon-ah's English name is Jack
Jeehyun's English name is Becky (which I actually call her by)
I don't think Leetae chose one, though. But his is easy to say.
Sooo yeah. A lot of the time they'll choose an English name. (Or shorten their Korean name, or both)
Mmm, Like Hoya's name is actually Sang Ho, and Kwon-ah's name is actually Kwon Yong
yeah >_> A lil complicated. And it definitely causes confusion between friends when you only know someone by one name.
