In china it will, it's forbidden. A decade or so ago there was a big crackdown on protesters who were practicing Tai-chi (yes, tai-chi in the name of protest) where the Red Army openned fire on them and arrested others, torturing a good number of them. When the USA and UN demanded an explenation for such horrific human rights violations the Chinese responded: "We're chinese, and we are communist- we do things our way and we will not appologize". not an exact quote, but I dont have the book with me at the moment.
