Well, I've learned all I know about knitting and crocheting from the internet. Initially youtube, and then ravelry, knitty.com, and pattern sites. Eventually I got to buying books. Most of them are pattern books, though. Afghan crochet requires a particular kind of hook, unless you are making a very narrow strip. Grannies, however, are something of the bread and butter of crochet. But you can still be counted in its ranks without knowing the granny square, I assure you.

Yes, well, if you look up one of the songs, chances are a few of the others will show up on the side of youtube, if that's where you plan on watching XD. He is described as being "folk/punk" which you might think an interesting combination but based on the Mumford and Sons song might not be too far out of reach.

EDIT: Wow, i saw that video once, a million years ago, based on... I think i was on the director's website because he worked with some of my favorites a couple of times.
