The extra time in the chapel was spent paying silent respects to his Lord, his hands moving smoothly across the polished stones he held in hand, aiding him to keep track of each prayer he was to speak softly under his breath. He'd only made it to his third large bead, the prayer of their Father still needing to be said when his husband's presence beside him stole his attention. Feeling the Prince lean in close, he could feel his warmth and knew simply by his actions that he was angry, and his words did nothing but confirm it. "Why did you not wait wife?" Though the words were softly hissed into his ear, he remained on his knees at the head of the pew, flipping the smooth stone between his fingers as he contemplated his response. "I did not wish to dally in my rooms when I could have been saying my prayers. I might be going to hell but it does not mean I won't say my prayers."
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to... ...I can't change
Even if I try
Even if I wanted to
