I lunged for you but.missed my mark
my hands fell upon your shoulders so I shook you and kicked your feet.

You smiled at me and licked my cheek
I gasped
that was the biggest insult to a person

So I made you dance like a ballerina and you giggled
I knew I could win.

But then.... a dragon swooped into the clearing summoned by the teeth swiping
it was angry from being awakened from.its slumber
