Much to his luck the next day was not nearly as busy at the first, but the looks he got from many left him feeling insecure and he made sure to stick close to his parents. They seemed so ecstatic about it all, after all their pact with the prince's parents had been consummated, or so they had every right to believe. They did not inquire about the previous evening, and he hadn't the guts to tell them what ended up happening. Playing the part of the equally happy as he was with them, he was left frowning.
