I think what would be best for you to do is to take a break from school, figure out what it is you truly want to do and then try again for a degree that you'll actually use. Because going for a degree for something you've discovered you don't want to do is just pointless. And I think that your dad's view of "needing to know what you want NOW" is really not right. Because thinking like that is just going to cause more stress for you. Don't worry about what he wants and focus on yourself. Think of the things you like doing, things you could see yourself doing as a career and then take the steps necessary to make it there. And if it takes a while to figure that out, don't worry. Hell, it took me 2 semesters at 2 separate colleges and put me over $14,000 in debt to figure that out the hard way.
Also, as far as your job goes, I would recommend looking for a different one. See if you can find a retail job where you don't have to make quotas like that. Because, as you said, you wouldn't mind it so bad if it weren't for your boss and the quotas.
But maybe try to find a job before you quit so you have the security of not being without one. Unless you want to take a break from work altogether for a while...
not knowing what your living situation is, I can't really advise well on that.
