( Bad post D; )
As usual her father was exaggerating over every simple detail, he was a perfectionist and it often showed. He wanted everything to be just right and he didn't seem to make an exception for anything. Flowers had been placed outside of all of the homes! Pots full of a variety of colors, red, pink and white for some and purple, yellow and blue for others. Nari had placed each flower carefully making sure that each pot had an equal amount of each color. In the center of the small village a pit had been dug, carefully selected wood had been chosen and tossed into the pit. They planned to have a massive fire for tonight's feast. While Nari occupied herself by decorating elsewhere others brought out tables to place the food and drinks upon. She had even decorated all of the lanterns that were lit in the hours of the night. Flowers curled around the poles like a snake would around its prey, the village was now ready for the festival!
She took a step back and for a moment looked around at the village pleased with the work that she had done. Then she suddenly realized something, it was growing darker outside now and Loki and Zarah had not returned yet. Nari felt rather guilty for leaving Zarah with poor Loki for so long. When she finally felt that there was nothing left to touch up she quickly turned on her heel then headed back towards the two others.
As she approached the dock Nari slowed down making sure that her steps were quiet. A smile crept onto her face when she saw the two others sitting at the end of the dock, she also noticed the rather large amount of fish laying beside Zarah. She stopped a few steps behind the two then leaned down placing her hand on her sister's shoulder. "I think that's enough for the festival." She said to her, Zarah jumped and nearly dropped the fishing rod into the waters below.
Nari whispered a few things to her sister, telling her to put away the fishing rods then to fit all of the fish into the bag. As her sister did so she looked at Loki then smiled. "I'm sorry for leaving her with you for so long, I got carried away with the decorating." A sudden noise came from the village, her ears twitched as she listened closely. It was a horn, then music began shortly. "Ah..." Nari looked over at Zarah who was now finished with putting away the fish. "Looks like the festival has begun, you should get going- Take the fishing rods, I'll carry the fish." Zarah nodded a little then handed the bag to Nari, she scooped up the fishing rods in her arms then ran off towards the path.
She lifted the bag of fish from the ground and was surprised by the weight of the bag. She wondered how many fish had been caught and knew there would be plenty for tonight. "Let's head back!" She said aloud, then she began to make her way down the dock. Nari wasn't sure if Loki would want to join the festival, she hoped that he would. Perhaps it would be a way to make the others see that he wasn't bad.
