Rin, who had wondered a bit away from Mirri, felt lost and cold. She wanted her substitute mother, and she wanted her now. The ground was cold, she was dirty, and she wanted her new trinket to work right.

Rin stopped and started to cry out.

"Mirri! Mirri! Where are you! Rin is so cold and hungry." shivering a bit she layed down and rolled her little bell back and forth in between her paws.
