Nari didn't expect the other to speak to her, she saw the way that he moved and the look on his face told her that he was thinking. She was just getting use to him being so quiet and was going to train herself to only have him questions that could be answered with a simple nod or shake of him head. That way it wouldn't be so difficult for them to communicate but here he was speaking to her. It was almost a relief really to know that he had a voice, she wondered how long he had held it in for. It also surprised her but was a relief as well that he was speaking in a language that she could understand.
How odd, she had not realized that she never gave the other her name yet. Even when he had given her something to call him! Her ears fell a little then she looked at the other, it embarrassed her that she had done such a thing. "I'm sorry about that, I never properly introduced myself!" She laughed a little then shook her head. "My name is Nari'Quinn, but everyone calls me Nari or Quinn for short. You can call me whichever one that you prefer." She watched him for a moment wondering if he speak to her from now on. She wanted to ask him a few questions but didn't want to become a nuisance.
It was obvious to tell that she was excited by the other speaking and curiosity filled her eyes. Nari didn't speak to different races much, she often encountered humans but those encounters were always unpleasant and Naga were rare. She knew that and a few other things seeing as her race didn't like them so much. Elves rarely roamed around here, many creatures didn't live here either and she had only ever heard of Dragonkin from legends.
"Is Loki your real name?" She finally asked him, it didn't hurt to ask the other a simple question. She hoped that she wasn't bothering him by asking or confusing him further. If he didn't remember then that was fine or if he told her that he was certain that it was his real name then she wouldn't bother him further. It just seemed odd really, it was such a pet name. She really wasn't sure about it but she believed that it even meant snake.
