Roland sat up at his desk and opened the top drawer. He reached in and pulled out his revolver and underarm holster and sighed as he took off his coat and put on the holster. He hated wearing it and even more so carrying a gun at all, but he had to. The last time he left the precinct without it he was reprimanded heavily. With a smooth motion he put his coat back on and headed out of the precinct.

Roland stretch lazily and placed his hands back into his pockets. He looked around for Esmun. "Surely he would be around here somewhere." He thought to himself.
