It Won't Stop

With a roll of his eyes, he stepped around to Razyn's side. "I swear, no one can ever seem t' keep a level head when pain's involved," he muttered quietly, to himself rather than the man as he set a hand on the elbow of his trapped arm. As he tucked the jar close to his own side, his hand warmed against Razyn's skin. "Now, you hold this thing right where it is, or I will not be fixin' it later." Once he shifted his focus to the thief's pain instead, the very sensation vibrating through his own fingertips the longer they lingered against him, it took Gabriel only a quick burst of well placed magic to take care of what he considered to be the man's main issue. There was a rush of warmth, followed by a loss of feeling, and control, to Razyn's bitten limb. When he pulled away, leaving just the smallest smear of his own blood on the thief's elbow, he knelt and settled his free hand right back onto the younger boy's chest.
Proper magic works with nature and science. We simply don't understand enough to see the big picture just yet.
