"You idiot-" he muttered, inwardly groaning as he shook out his newly released hand. Still, Gabe didn't have time to dwell on it before he settled this hand against the boy's chest as well. His brows furrowed as he tried to focus, looking past the all too obvious growls and wheezing to try and figure out what, exactly, had gone wrong. Guessing was all well and good, when his patients were human and could stand more than the smallest bursts of magic he could manage. This was most definitely not one of those cases.
