And while he felt bad for the kid, a small part was glad that it hadn't been him. He shook his head before looking back up at Gabriel. "So, what now? Anything you need me to get or do?" Idleness was not his thing, nor something he wanted to waste too much time on. He liked to be doing, well, something. Anything, no matter how small or menial the task. Something was better than nothing.
