He jumped and grabbed the first bar. The floor of the second story consisted of lead pipes and the rare plywood slab. Across the middle of the floor ran a long wall.

Can't pass that, like always. Kyd ran up to it and kicked off backwards, sending himself flying high enough to latch onto what would've been a minor gas pipe. He swung carefully.

Just a bit to the left or right, and that side'd come loose. Halfway in the air, he tucked his legs in and landed on a catwalk on the third story. He took off without glancing down. The space above and below him seemed to have been planned as an elevator shaft. There was nothing, not even netting, and a slight misstep would've cause the common klutz to fall a wicked twenty-five feet to his demise.
