Quiet Man Cometh
We're all mad here.
Oh I never learned ir formally, just picked things up here and there. I have an oracle set with Celtic names on it and pronounciations. I went to Ireland for a bit and made notes while I was there. My family has a good amount of Celt in it and my mom comes from the Martimes so I pick up some stuff. A bunch of us have Celtic names though I think that's more a coincidence than anything. ;)
'Slainte' (I think) pronounced "slancha" means "good heath" or "heath." Generally gets used as a toast but I've also seen it written outside of Irish pharmacies or wellness centers.
I think the snag is simply that it's not the same family as English. Its' Celtic, which includes different Gaelic dialects, Welsh, Manx, etc. Lean a language in one family and the rest become easier. ;)
Tea?
